We’ve been purchasing coffee from Peru through Origin Coffee Lab for 2 years now. This year, we were fortunate enough to get to taste the results of Sebastian’s hard work. He’s got two plots of land in the mountains above Jaén, which we calls La Lucuma and La Esperanza. This lot of coffee is from La Esperanza and is composed of three colours of caturra (red, yellow, orange), and catuai. The orange caturra trees in particular produce some of the sweetest fruit we’ve ever encountered.
After harvest, Sebastian places the coffee on raised beds in his front yard for around 3 days before moving it down to a shared community drying facility a little further down the mountain. Not only does he not have enough space to keep the coffee in his beds for as long as it takes to dry properly, it rains pretty frequently at that elevation so the coffee is at risk of spoiling. We think it makes a lot of sense to have a slower initial drying stage, so we also think this way makes sense from a quality preservation standpoint too! We’re so excited to be able to work with Sebastian.

First of all, it's the freshest coffee I have tasted yet. It smells so nice but tastes sour. I don't know whether the coffee baked enough or actually it is. If u want to try, it will be deserved to have the chance.

Coffee beans are good and enjoy my espressos. The longish shipping time - not so good!
Is it bad when I run out that I start to Crave Transcend

I was introduced to you espresso from a wonderful flower customer of our store. I started enjoying a cup when I am designing our signature floral art for our flowershop. It inspires me and I can honestly tell you that it is soothing to sip away and create....thank you
