If your wondering how to make a better cup of coffee and what factors influence the taste of your coffee this course is for you! The class was very relaxed and the instructors were informative. Basically you make the same coffee a variety of ways to determine how each variation influences the taste. I would definitely recommend this course!

We've been waiting to find a time we could take this class and were very happy when it all came together.
The 2 employees who hosted the workshop were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and adapted quickly to our interests and questions. This was much more hands on than I expected and when we left we had a personalized coffee/water ratio, grind size preference and a much better grasp on vocabulary used to describe our preferred tastes.
This class went above and beyond our expectations, even for a business we were already impressed by. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone we know and will look to took other workshops through transcend.
Huge thanks to the two employees who hosted us!

We had a great time and learned a ton about coffee. Great for the uninitiated, but also those who know a bit but want to know more. Also got a discount on some equipment I was interested in anyway. Fantastic time, fantastic course and instructors were great!

The workshop was small and not intimidating at all, even though it was my first time using the aeropress. The class caters to each student's personal taste and gives us a chance to learn proper technique and experiment to find what we like best. Definitely worthwhile.
Introduction to Immersion Coffee Brewing
Posted by Don on 8th Mar 2016
This short course on using an Aeropress and a french press is an excellent introduction into a personalized approach to brewing coffee. The course format is 'hands on' and geared towards a small group. There were only five in our group with two instructors , very nice ratio. Since all five of us were keen on brewing with an Aeropress the whole session was dedicated to that method.
I found the instruction style to be friendly, informative and inclusive. If you are interested in brewing a cup of coffee to suit your personal taste, then this is a course for you.
