Many renowned coffee experts consider the Technivorm Moccamaster line of coffee brewers to simply be the best available. Here's why:
Heats water to the proper temperature of 92 – 94 degrees Celsius (198 - 204 ˚F) and keeps it consistent through the whole brew cycle, ensuring proper flavour extraction from your coffee grounds.
The Technivorm's brew cycle finishes in about six minutes. That's much shorter than other brewers, and better for your coffee.
Quality of build is extremely important when it comes to your coffee brewer. Each unit is hand-built and tested by ethically treated, well paid and knowledgeable people in The Netherlands (not China), meeting the very highest quality standards. They are imported directly by Transcend Coffee, as we are the Canadian distributor for Technivorm. These machines are incredibly solid, well put-together, and and easy to use. They come with a standard 5-year warranty and will brew your coffee consistently for years and years to come. In fact, some European customers are still using the Technivorm brewer they purchased over 20 years ago!

The Technivorm Moccamaster CD Thermal meets the very strict requirements of both the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) for coffee brewing quality. This is†something very few coffee makers can claim.
“After brewing gallons of coffee, we had a winner (The Technivorm Moccamaster). It’s utterly consistent: During every cycle, it hit the ideal temperature zone for the optimal length of time, which explains why its coffee was always smooth and full-flavored."
-Cook’s Illustrated - Read the article or watch the video review.
“The Technivorm KB741 coffee maker has a cult following, not least because water is brought to a boil so that grounds steep at an ideal 200 degrees.”
-New York Times
“The (Technivorm) KB 741 was the most powerful of the seven coffeemakers I tried, at 1475 watts. It produced a delicious, superbly balanced cup—the kind I’d want to start my day with. It was also the fastest, producing eight cups in about five minutes."
-Sam Gugino, Wine Spectator
“Handmade in Holland, the Moccamaster coffee machine is beautifully engineered. It maintains optimal temperature (precisely 200 ˚F) throughout its brewing cycle for a difference you’ll taste in your morning cup.”
"How did the coffee (from the Technivorm KBT741) taste? It was hot, sparkling and perfectly extracted."
-Colin Newell at CoffeeCrew.com read the in depth review

Quel bonheur de déguster un bon café. J'ai fait un heureux en achetant pour son anniversaire, la meilleure cafetière.

my son ordered the Moccamaster KBT 741 after reading several reviews on it. It makes an excellent cup of coffee and will brew a full pot in about 5 minutes. We are so impressed with it that my husband and I are going to have to order one ourselves now that our son went back to university and took it with him

Isn't it great when products live up to the "marketing hype" ? I've been very happy with my 741 so far. On top of the fast brewing, high temperature and great coffee, I really like the design...it looks terrific even when it isn't in use.

A joy to own. Looks great, brews great time after time and cleans easily.
I am using this brewer with a Compak K3 grinder which cost more than coffee machine, this combination has taken our coffee to a whole new level.
Couldn't be happier.

My husband did very extensive research on how to brew the best cup of coffee and ended up purchasing the moccamaster despite its higher price. We have not regretted that decision one bit! The coffee it brews is excellent and we plan to enjoy it for many years longer than if we went for something cheaper.

No bells and whistles, but very well made, solid with clean lines. The quality is apparent immediately and the speed and temperature of brewing makes a great joe.

This is a very good coffee maker, however I rated it only as 3 stars as I found it expensive for what you get. This is only the second coffee maker I've ever bought. My expectations were quite high for a $300 coffee maker. I can't say there was anything exceptional about this $300 coffee maker compared to my $60 Braun coffee maker that I had for 13 years. I do like the stainless carafe that so the coffee doesn't get that scorched taste. I now question whether I would have got the same result from a $100 or less coffee maker with a stainless carafe...

Love this machine. I could never find a coffee maker that would brew at the temperature I wanted. And the carafe keeps it hot for a long time. Very tasty. All in all a great coffee experience. I am pleased.
