Many renowned coffee experts consider the Technivorm Moccamaster line of coffee brewers to simply be the best available. Here's why:
Heats water to the proper temperature of 92 – 94 degrees Celsius (198 - 204 ˚F) and keeps it consistent through the whole brew cycle, ensuring proper flavour extraction from your coffee grounds.
The Technivorm's brew cycle finishes in about six minutes. That's much shorter than other brewers, and better for your coffee.
Quality of build is extremely important when it comes to your coffee brewer. Each unit is hand-built and tested by ethically treated, well paid and knowledgeable people in The Netherlands (not China), meeting the very highest quality standards. They are imported directly by Transcend Coffee, as we are the Canadian distributor for Technivorm. These machines are incredibly solid, well put-together, and and easy to use. They come with a standard 5-year warranty and will brew your coffee consistently for years and years to come. In fact, some European customers are still using the Technivorm brewer they purchased over 20 years ago!

The Technivorm Moccamaster CD Thermal meets the very strict requirements of both the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) for coffee brewing quality. This is†something very few coffee makers can claim.
“After brewing gallons of coffee, we had a winner (The Technivorm Moccamaster). It’s utterly consistent: During every cycle, it hit the ideal temperature zone for the optimal length of time, which explains why its coffee was always smooth and full-flavored."

“The Technivorm KB741 coffee maker has a cult following, not least because water is brought to a boil so that grounds steep at an ideal 200 degrees.”
-New York Times
“The (Technivorm) KB 741 was the most powerful of the seven coffeemakers I tried, at 1475 watts. It produced a delicious, superbly balanced cup—the kind I’d want to start my day with. It was also the fastest, producing eight cups in about five minutes."
-Sam Gugino, Wine Spectator
“Handmade in Holland, the Moccamaster coffee machine is beautifully engineered. It maintains optimal temperature (precisely 200 ˚F) throughout its brewing cycle for a difference you’ll taste in your morning cup.”
"How did the coffee (from the Technivorm KBT741) taste? It was hot, sparkling and perfectly extracted."
-Colin Newell at CoffeeCrew.com read the in depth review
The Technivorm Moccamaster KBT 741 is an excellent 10 cup coffee maker to produce 1.25 ltr/ 10 cups of coffee directly into the stainless steel thermojug.

Very easy to use, very easy to clean, keeps coffee hot and, most importantly, makes the best tasting coffee of any machine I have ever used - and I have tried several!
Whole heartedly recommend this machine. Well worth the price.

Bought this machine as a gift to my fiancé on our anniversary after countless research on quality coffee makers that can last for many years. I have been looking for a machine all over the internet and came across this. Unlike other competitors, it's got 5 year warranty and operation is simple and the build quality is good (I wouldn't call it top notch). The plastic water holder had a deep crack upon unpacking the machine. So I called the customer service and they sent me a replacement w/ a return label no questions asked. The replacement unit was shipped promptly and now is making what my fiancé calls some of the best coffee she's ever had! Terrific customer service and a terrific coffee maker praised by not only my fiancé but other people who had the privilege of tasting it make this site and the machine a great buy. Another satisfied customer. Carry on!

The coffee maker makes very good coffee but there is a lot of removable parts to keep track of. However, all the removable parts do make cleaning the thing easy.

Great coffee. Worth tinkering with your usual coffee / water amounts at first until you nail it. Looks great, the plastic pieces are, well, plastic, but they are solid, easy to remove and clean.
I am surprised by the carafe. Pouring is not really an issue providing you get the holes in the stopper in the right place but still, considering the design I would have thought it would pour a little more cleanly. Absolutely would not stop me buying another one though.

We now have two of these (one at home and one at our cabin) and they work exceptionally well. Heats the water up fast and to a perfect temperature. We have second carafe and basket at our cabin when we have a crowd. Everyone loves the design and of course the taste of the coffee when you use a nice fresh roast. We use the gold filter and a fairly course grind, basket set at the midpoint and get great tasting coffee!

Saw this coffee maker on America's test kitchen. They said it was the best, read other reviews saying the same. We decided to try it out and see for ourselves. And you know what? The reviews were right, this is a great coffee maker, no toots n whistles, just great tasting coffee.

This is an automatic coffee machine for those who love great coffee but who are not necessarily "coffee geeks". I get the same quality brew that I get from my Chemex, but without the fuss. This beast is built like a tank, and looks like it will run for years to come. It also breaks down for easy cleaning. The only minor complaint I would have is the design of the carafe. If they put a proper spout on it I'd be able to pour at the kitchen table as opposed to the kitchen sink.

This is easy to use - coffee always tastes great. It's a simple easy to use machine. If you love full bodied coffee with a non acidic taste this is the coffee maker you should buy.

I love this coffee maker - Ihad a cuisenart machine that took 20 minutes to make a full pot. We bought expensive fresh roast local coffees, but it always tasted thin and bitter to me.
I make coffee in my technivorme - full strength with the same coffees and it is always amazing.
Such fast delivery too
